You might have a clear vision of something simple, traditional, personalised, or elaborate… or you might feel unsure where to begin. Whatever your starting point, I’m here to guide you through the process gently.

Every ceremony I create is thoughtfully written with care and clarity. You won’t need to worry about what to say, when to speak, or what comes next — everything is clearly prompted, allowing you to feel confident and supported on the day.

What Happens Next? A Simple, Supportive Process

To begin, we’ll meet in person, online or have a phone call to talk through your ideas, thoughts, and any questions you may have. We’ll also go over the legal requirements, logistics, and anything else you’re unsure about — whether you're planning a wedding, civil union, or a funeral or celebration of life.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve seen so many incredible ceremonies and have a strong sense of what works beautifully. If you’d like guidance or inspiration, I’m more than happy to help. You might be wondering:

Once your date is secured with a deposit, I’ll email you a helpful information booklet — or, as I like to call it, “ceremony homework.” It’s full of examples, ideas, and inspiration to help shape your ceremony, whether you use the examples as-is or use them as a springboard to write something truly your own.

You’ll also receive a personalised questionnaire with around 30 thoughtful questions. Your responses help me craft a ceremony that reflects your unique story, values, and tone — whether it’s a joyful wedding or a heartfelt farewell.

When the first draft is ready, I’ll send it to you for review. You’ll have full editing rights and final approval, so everything feels right — and there are no unexpected surprises on the day.

Writing Wedding Vows

For some people, this seems quite hard.  We're not all writers after all!  Here's a simple tip ... grab pen and paper.  Write down all the things you love about each other.  They don't have to make rhyme or reason, they just have to make sense.  Get creative!  Personalised vows are very special. On The Day

• I arrive at least half an hour early. 
• I coordinate with the venue manager, musician/DJ and anyone else necessary on the day.  
• I'm there to take care of the ceremony, so you don't need to worry about A THING!  

Once I have the guests ready and the groomsmen calm and looking fabulous in their line - I'll come to meet you when you arrive.  I'll remind your bridal party to smile down the aisle and answer any last-minute questions.
